Michaela Campbell

Director of Government Affairs, Congressional Fire Services Institute (CFSI)

Michaela Campbell is the Director of Government Affairs for the Congressional Fire Services Institute (CFSI). Prior to joining CFSI, Campbell was a Legislative Assistant at Steptoe & Johnson LLP where she worked with clients from major US businesses to large trade associations, helping them understand, track, and influence both legislative and regulatory processes. She also previously served in the US Senate, where she worked on Assistance to Firefighter Grant (AFG) and Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response (SAFER) Grants funding, as well as a broad range of economic, tax, national defense, and homeland security issues.

Campbell holds a BA in Political Science from Brown University.
